Scholarship Foundation

Investing in the Future of Our Community.

Since 2001, the BBCN Bank Scholarship Foundation and its predecessor organization have distributed more than $1.3 million in scholarships to assist college-bound high school seniors who have demonstrated strong academic performance, leadership capabilities and financial need. In addition to scholarship opportunities for deserving students, we work with community organizations to help students and families navigate through the complex process of applying for and obtaining information about college and financial aid.

In order to expand our efforts in reaching out to students who need the most help, BBCN Bank will be working with the nation's largest non-profit organization devoted to providing college scholarships for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, the Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund ( APIASF ). Through this partnership, BBCN Bank provides a bridge to higher education to local communities, as students can not only benefit from BBCN Bank's Scholarship, but also from various scholarships offered through APIASF.
